Max. size:  10.9 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 2 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: from Mauritania to Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 2708. Inhabits brackish and saltwater at depths of less than 30m on bottoms of mud and sand (Ref. 435). Omnivore and opportunistic benthic predator. Prefers fishes and mollusks (Ref. 106107).
