Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and Western Indian Ocean: East coast of Africa.
Diagnosis:  5.7 cm wide; the dome-like apex with 6 to 8 large and about 30 small, round protuberances, surrounded by a wide annular furrow; no marginal lappets; mouth-arms dichotomous, each with four long filaments; numerous very small filaments among the mouths; 7 inter-rhopalar canals in each octant.
