Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found offshore, in coral reefs, reef lagoons, estuaries, bays and coves, particularly on algae, pilings, coral, gravel, mud, rock, rubble, sand, seagrass and shell habitats (Ref. 83934).
