Distribution:  Cosmopolitan.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 117328. Inhabits muddy beaches, in the interstitial of boulders and stone beaches between giant kelp algae from the intertidal area to a depth of 50 m (Ref. 87801). Found in areas influenced by estuarine outflows (Ref. 96507). Associated with organic pollutants. A microvore that feeds on organic detritus (Ref. 96352). Discretely motile. Tentaculate suspension and surface deposit feeder (Ref. 125928).
