Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic. Tropical, subtropical and boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is an epibiotic species that inhabits submerged vegetation, in soft and hard substrates (Ref. 108813). Common in the intertidal region. Colonies are either branching or incrusting. (Ref. 851).
