Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 3 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits intertidal reef flats (Ref. 799). Often in extremely dense populations (Ref. 349). Part of both epibenthic and arboreal communities in mangrove areas (Ref. 128397).
