Environment:  pelagic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Western Atlantic: Seychelles, Hawaii, Belize and Bermuda. Tropical and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on mangrove roots and on sponges, i.e. Tedania ignis (Ref. 86642). Known from upper slope (> 100m), tops of Challenger and Argus seamounts (Ref. 86643).
