Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occasionally used as food. Must be carefully handled, as it can inflict painful bites with its poisonous, arrow-like teeth (Ref. 349).
