Distribution:	Indo-West Pacific: from Andaman, north to Taiwan, south to Australia and east to Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:	Up to 31 cm wide; rhopalar and tentacular stomach pouches connected by several broad, transverse anastomoses; peripheral canals without anastomoses; radial muscles entirely outside the periphery of the circular muscle band; horseshoed shaped insertions of tentacle groups 2 to 3 times a s long as broad.
