Solitary. Free-living when mature, up to 45 mm across. Indistinct walls under the 3 orders of septo-costae. Teeth: large and lobed. Columella: broad and compact. A paliform crown may be distinguished. skeleton may be observed under the fleshy and transparent tentacles. Color: brown (Ref. 848). |
Occurs in deep sandy substrates with other free-living corals (Ref. 848). |
