Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 796 m
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 3446, 0-100 m but lives at 0-46m. Maximum depth from specimen dredged at 435 fathoms (Ref. 78694). Inhabits cienaga facies, coral reefs, intertidal, mangroves offshore and reef lagoons. Found on a variety of substrates such as algae, ascidians, corals, octocorals, rocks, rubble and sand (Ref. 83934).
