Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; marine; depth range 0 - 5 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: New Zealand, New Caledonia, Macquarie Island, Australia. Subtropical to polar.
Diagnosis:  Wing: 64.0 cm.
Biology:  Minimum and maximum depth ranges are based on feeding behavior of surface-seizer types of seabirds (Ref. 119695). This is to be replaced with better references.
