Distribution:  Arctic, Atlantic, the Mediterranean and Northeast Pacific. Polar to tropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Tubiculous (Ref. 112705). Found along the sub-littoral zone, in muddy bottoms associated with organic pollutants. A microvore that feeds on organic detritus (Ref. 96352); a surface deposit feeder (based from the feeding ecology of the family Spionidae; Ref. 87179).
