Colony: massive, with slightly angular corallites. Corallites: with thick, rounded walls. Weakly developed paliform lobes. Large columellae. Septal spines may be prominent. Costae commonly form a three pointed star where three corallites adjoin. Color: often brown, sometimes with green or gray oral discs (Ref. 848). |
