Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Japan to Australia and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Colonies may be over one meter across. That are flabello-meandroid with exsert septa which plunges near the valley center. There are no columellae and polyps have large tubular tentacles with pale tips.
Biology:  Forms flabello-meandroid colonies (Ref. 847).
