Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 3 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic, Mediterranean and Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Intertidal (Ref. 1184); occurs at low tide mark (Ref. 1181 and 1184). May be found among mangroves in brackish environments (Ref. 1184). Specimen obtained from intertidal sand (Ref. 1182).
