Irregular mass usually covered with and semi-buried in sediment and algae. Bright yellow exterior, paler interior. Surface covered by fistules no wider than 0.05 cm with heights between 1 to 2 cm. Oscules less than 0.05 cm on top of oscular chimneys 1 cm wide, 2 to 3 cm high. Soft and compressible, exudate absent. Poorly developed ectosomal skeleton, surface layer non-detachable (Ref. 85482). |
