Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mantle length is 4.5 cm. Extremely venomous, tetrodotoxin venom produced in the salivary glands. Responsible for one human death (Ref. 96968).
