Distribution:  Western Atlantic: USA, Canada, Belize and Bermuda.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Colonial (Ref. 19). Epibiotic (Ref. 116013). Known from banks (Ref. 86643). Also found in Carrie Bow Cay, Belize, in sand trough areas on substrates composed of hydroids at a depths of 23 m. As with other hydroids, this species exhibits a pelagic medusoid stage (Ref. 87156).
