Its body length is 0.2 to 0.4 cm. It is white in color but occasionally it is greenish. In both live and preserved specimens it has dark round eyes. It also has a round cephalon. |
Inhabits shallow waters (Ref. 3113), at depths of 0 to 20 m, in kelp holdfasts of Macrocystis sp. and Durvillaea antarctica (Ref. 87801). It feeds on the tissue of kelp holdfasts (Ref. 87801). |
