Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Indo-Pacific. Circumtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits bays and other calm water areas, often under docks. Feeds on Caulerpa racemosa (Ref. 844). On submergent vegetation (Ref. 109264).
