Diagnosis: | Formation: hemispherical to flat. Valley: 20 to 25 mm wide, in average; irregularly meandroid, straight in flat colonies. Walls: moderately thick, fleshy, with a grove along the top. Color: widely ranging from red to gray and green, with valleys and walls often of contrasting color. Colonies in Red Sea are commonly cream colored (Ref. 848). | |||
