Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mesohaline species. Dwells in brackish coastal waters at salinities of 18-30ppm. Thrives at depths of 20m or less in lagoons, gulfs, estuaries, river mouths, and tidal plains. Associated with algae and mud (Ref. 128821).
