Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 25 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in coral reef and rocky habitats (Ref. 128042), common in shallow water, under coral slabs and stones, or among seaweeds, sometimes half-buried in sand (Ref. 349). Members of the family Cypraeidae are primarily carnivores (Ref. 67623).
