Distribution:  Western Atlantic and North American inland water: USA and Canada. The Arctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Freshwater species (Refs. 3477, 98471). Inhabits large river systems, preferring low velocity areas and borders of main channels (Ref. 98471). Estuarine (Ref. 97531).
