Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Azooxanthellate species forming extensive thickets in deep water. Twisted branches with subcerioid corallites .
Biology:  Found in deep water habitats usually below 50 meters depth (Ref. 847). Forms clumpy thickets on deeper areas of reef rocks (Ref. 98471).
