Distribution:	Central Atlantic: Caribbean Sea and northern Canary Current.
Diagnosis:	Azooxanthellate species with colonies of fine twisted branches. Corallites are subcerioid with rounded outline. The coenosteum is covered by coarse spinules.
Biology:	Azooxanthellate (Ref. 116012). Found in rocky foreshores below 12 meters (Ref. 1663). Outer continental shelf (50 to 200 m) (Ref. 116012).
