Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 60 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea to Bermuda.
Diagnosis:  Branching colonies with widespread corallites that are sometimes angular in outline. Coenosteum has fine spinules that sometimes form a ridge between corallites.
