Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.
Diagnosis:  3.5 cm wide, thin at margin but very thick at apex, exumbrella with irregularly placed clusters of small warts; margin irregularly lobed, with 5 to 10 lappets in each octant; arm-disk with particularly long filaments; mouth arms hardly as long as disk radius, lower three-winged portion 3 to 4 times as long as upper portion; each arm with a short, rounded terminal knob, and with short, gelatinous knobs between the frilled mouths; 6 to 7 canal roots in each octant.
