Max. size:  10 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 1 - 15 m
Distribution:  Central Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected mainly for its shell (Ref. 349). Depth range is based on occurrence in French Polynesia (Refs. 99597, 99598); to be replaced with a better reference. Usually inhabits under slabs and rocks, or in gullies and holes of the algal crests (Ref. 349).
