Base of shell sometimes with a row of smaller, blunt spines. Colour: purplish brown, light grey, or white, with bluish, brownish or greyish bands. | |||
Biology: | Inhabits coastal lagoons, mangroves, river estuaries, and other low-salinity environments (Ref. 355). | |||
