Max. size:  6.5 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from India to the Philippines; north to Japan and China and south to Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in intertidal areas in mud (Ref. 75831). Also in sandy-mud bottoms of littoral zone (Ref. 345).
