Family:  Mitridae (miter shells), subfamily: Mitrinae
Max. size:  8 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 200 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mainly collected for its shell in the area (Ref. 349). Inhabits reef platforms, on the underside of rocks. Shelf zones (Ref. 349).
