Distribution:  Cosmopolitan.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum total length from Ref. 1758. Minimum depth from Ref. 116065. Found inside decaying mangrove roots or on a vertical bank of roots and sediments (Ref. 415); on hard substrate (Ref. 116065); occurs in coarse bottom sediments, often among seagrass (Thalassia testudinum), and embedded in peat bank (Ref. 415, 86424). Solitary (Ref. 1758).
