Max. size:  4 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 4 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from East Africa, to Melanesia; north to Japan, and south to southern Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Locally collected by coastal people. Shell used in shellcraft (Ref. 349).
