Colonies: horizontal to vertical plates or thick columns and branches. Corallites: immersed and distinct. Coenosteum: tuberculae fused into ridges forming the same pattern as Porites rus (Poritidae) and Montipora confusa. Green; Purple; Blue or brown; with pale growing margins (Ref. 846). |
