Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:  This species can be distinguished from the other species of the group by the following set of characters: unarmed anterolateral angle of the carapace and unarmed carapace margins (vs. armed anterolateral margin); presence of acute teeth on the pterygostomian flap surface (vs. absence); presence of acute teeth on the flexor and extensor margins of the meri of P2-4 (vs. (absence; unarmed flexor margins of the meri) (Ref. 128308).
Biology:  Depth based on type locality; to be replaced with a better reference.
