Family:  Nassariidae (Nassa mud snails)
Max. size:  3.5 cm ShH (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from East and South Africa, to Melanesia; north to southern Japan and south to southern Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Length based on occurrence record; to be replaced with better reference. Most Nassariidae are omnivores and facultative scavengers (Ref. 108572).
