Family:  Nautilidae (chambered nautiluses)
Max. size:  16 cm SHD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 500 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Umbilicus has deep, round-shouldered concavity (Ref. 346), not filled with a concretion; reduced color markings on shell (Ref. 275).
Biology:  Consumed by artisanal fishers and supports small fisheries for private and public aquaria and research trade (Ref. 346).
