Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 878 - 2560 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has a maximum total length of 12 cm (Ref. 271), and a maximum carapace length of 5.6 cm (Ref. 4); between 4 and 5 cm (adults carapace length) (Ref. 39). Deep sea (Ref. 97531). Occurs at depths between 878 and 2560 m but most common between 1100 and 1900 m (Ref. 4).
