Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Iran, Oman, United Arab Emirates and French Polynesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Common in upper eulittoral zone at rocky shores (Ref. 102838). Members of the family Neritidae are herbivorous, grazing by night at low tide on fine algae and detritus covering the bottoms where they live (Ref. 349).
