Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 200 - 300 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific, Northeast Atlantic, Arctic and the Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth and length based on occurrence record; to be replaced with better reference. It is an epibenthic species found in reefs (Ref. 95730). Known as suspension feeder (Ref. 75621).
