Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Belize and Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 111335. This is an intertidal species found in coral reefs, seagrass beds (Ref. 83942), and rubble (Ref. 86568). It adopts exposed positions on mangrove peat banks, whereas in reef habitat they are cryptic (Ref. 86570).
