Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea: from Bay of Biscay, Spain and Portugal to Madeira Island and Morocco, into Balearic Islands, France, Italy, Albania, Greece, Turkey, to Cyprus. Temperate to subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 105595. Mainly inhabits depths between 15 and 80 m, but sampled down to 450 m (Ref. 105609). Found on low slope sandy area (Ref. 105595) and mud (Ref. 105613). Scavenger (Ref. 52384). Symbiotic with sea anemones (Ref. 106082).
