Max. size:  8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Introduced in the Caspian Sea in the 1930s and 1980s and in Aral Sea in the 1950s (Ref. 2756).
