Family:  Ocypodidae (fiddler and ghost crabs)

Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: China, Ryukyu Islands, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  In muddy/sandy flats in the upper intertidal zone (Ref. 131380). Also occur in burrows on salt marshes. Substrate is compact, composed of coarse sand and rock fragments (Ref. 132434).
