Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:  1.5 cm wide; exumbrella finely pitted; the 8 gonads elongate, slightly curved, smooth sacs with large, distinctly oval eggs, the position of which varies within the same specimen, the eggs not arranged in pairs; the disk rusty brown, stomach and filaments darker; gonads dark brown, tentacles colorless.
