Distribution:  East Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Abundant in intertidal mussel beds. Filter-feeders as adults (Also Ref. 128984). Pelagic larvae develop as two carnivorous zoeal stages and one filter-feeding megalops stage (Ref. 127557). Nocturnally active. More tolerant of sand and muddy water than other congeners (Ref. 128984).
