Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific. Tropical to boreal.
Diagnosis:  Goose-sized; black overall; long neck and tail; has webbed feet that connects its four toes, allowing it to cling to rocky cliffs and feed on shoaling fish (Ref. 94965).
