Biology:  Oceanic (Ref. 429); bathyal to abyssal (Ref. 19), common in depths more than 2000 m (Ref. 429). Biscay in depths more than 2000 m (Ref. 429). Semi-cosmopolitan; bathyal to abyssal (Ref. 19).
